Default What's your best guess?

My options tag in the frunk has a handwritten code on it and I can't figure out what it could be referencing. I have seen 911's with handwritten options codes before, which were added after the original sale. This WL code, though, does not appear to be a 996 option code (that I can find).

What say you?

It doesn't match any codes on the list I have been using:
http://www.pelicanparts.com/PartsLoo...SA_KATALOG.htm

In the 996 Essential Companion is lists M007 as Japanese Model Carrera RS...(https://books.google.com/books?id=Ra...%20007&f=false)

Mine seemed to have a 4 digit number hand written on my sticker, when I disconnected the battery for the IMS/clutch work I needed the radio code after power up, it ended up being the handwritten number.

Not sure what yours is?

I noticed a very similar handwriting on the same sticker of my car just a few days ago. I suspect it was written there either last year or the year before during service at the dealer (engine out maintenance to replace a vario cam actuator, gearbox replacement). I'm absolutely certain that the handwriting was not there earlier, have the car from new (2000 c4).
I know they use codes sometime, for example they remove door jamb stickers on cars which were in accidents etc.
I need to schedule for annual service soon, will ask them about this.

Maybe it's a warning, like "Wild and Loose at speeds above 70mph" hahaha

Seriously, it's "WHEEL LOCK #7" hahaha

Where do I read what wheel lock I have so I can make note of it?

Mine is engraved on the side of the wheel lock key. However some of the older kits didn't stamp the number on the side. If that's the case, then you'll need to take it to the dealership for matching to the Porsche master set.
