It would be nice if common sense could prevail and John's original user name and post history reinstated even it takes a bit of technical manipulation.
John's business is pretty much a one man Cottage Industry but his contribution to the community has been immense. As I recall he has over 7k posts to his history and I doubt more than a good handful have been promoting his wares - most supporting listers with issues irrespective of whether he has anything to offer them commercially.
Hopefully Rennlist can and will do the right thing here.

Whereas I have a fond regard for our colonial cousins, I find the TV Comedy over there somewhat constipated by and large- however there is always an exception to every rule and I have the complete set of Frasier which is truly hilarious and right up there with the likes of Fawlty Towers, Dad's Army, Steptoe and Son, Last of the Summer Wine etc etc. Sad to say we [Brits] do not seem to have quite the same classic comedy these days - that or I just do not get to see them.
