Default 99 C2 w/Aero kit, what front splitter options and rear side skirts?

Hello, I picked up a 1999 996 C2 with factory Aero kit, not long ago, and have been doing some things to it as i go.

Im interested in getting some kind of front splitter for it. It seems as though many of them specify for a stock bumper, which seems to have a different enough shape from my front bumper, that i doubt they would work? im just not a fan of how much it comes back up from the fenderwell to the nose. id prefer a flatter bottom side profile. I have seen some fairly thin ones. maybe a couple inches. but can not seem to be positive im finding the right one?

I have also been looking at one of these... if i could make it work somehow. or find one ment to fit my bumper

the Getty Folded Lip Splitter, but it as well says for stock bumpers...

And if i was to find something a little more drastic like that, I have been really looking at possibly adding the rest of the Aero Kit. Adding the rear skirt pieces(honestly dont know what the right name is for them)

Here's something, I can't say I like it, but the price is right:

Hmm, that is interesting. yes the price is right. I haven't taken the front bumper off yet (intend to to clean the radiators etc) but it seems as though its not to hard. A person could almost have a couple bumpers and swap on occasion... lol

I did find some pics of one actually on a car

I also suppose i could find (somewhere...) a stock front bumper, to mount that Getty splitter to, and keep my Factory Aero front bumper stock. but that would bump up my cost decently i would think

This is the part number for the factory splitter if you have an Aero bumper. It is attached with plastic pins that mount through the bottom of the bumper cover.

It seems as though (if im understanding correctly) that some people have taken a more aggressive one from a newer year aero kit car and trimmed it a bit to make it fit? sounds like there are multiple sizes of those as well though?

something like this i think?! I'd like something a little more on the aggressive appearing end if i can find something.

I've even been trying to track down some kind of Dive Plane that will fit my frontend.

Yes, this is the OEM splitter:

I have a high ramp into one of my garages and it rubs on it so I took it off.

BTW, I also have a MK1 aero car.

^^^

Yes, when wearing the splitter, you definitely are aware of any driveway approach.

Oh I'm sure of that! its Lowered, and even without the splitter i have to pay attention. But I'm fine with that.

I'm very used to driving things with minimal clearance! One of my other summer Daily Drivers is a 70 GMC shortbox. It's not slammed, but its dropped 5/7 so you definitely have to pay attention

I think this is the splitter you want. Its almost impossible to find and was lucky enough to find an extra one so that I can replace if anything happens to the old one. Let me dig it out and see if I can find a pn number on it. While the one on my car is black, my extra one that needs to be painted since it is a gray color.

one other note...I put on a mkII bumper on the rear instead of the spatulas and it completely changed the look of the car as you can see below. The rockers flow nicely into the features of the new bumper. Also, clear front headlights would really clean up the front of the car as well.
