No, there's just a lot of room on the inside of the rumbles. You do not go into the pit out lane at all. In that sense, it's similar to going over the rumbles on the outside of turn 1 at the Glen, except you're on the inside.
Inside at turn 1 is shorter distance and faster on start lap. Clear opportunity to gain advantage vs both/ all lanes of traffic staying to the outside of the curb.
At the Glen turn 1 the extra room is to outside and that is longer distance, typically slower vs staying on track.
here's an NJMP lap in a gtc5 cup from a few years ago. back when 2,3,4 were sketchy as hell, with sand and no decent runoff.
