I'm with America Modern as well for all the cars in my signature, but through the Nat'l Corvette Museum.
I haven't had a claim yet, only a tow, and that was fine. They are flexible with usage and mileage and have a drive to work provision, too. I just asked to up my coverage for the 928 and 911 and they agreed, although they didn't give me quite as much as I wanted for the 928, but they were close.

I also have American Modern Home through Leland-West. I have a rider that allows commuting to work 2 days a week. If I recall correctly, the annual mileage limit is 6000.

I have American Modern as well through the Corvette Museum. I tried to get a tow and had a friend along with AAA. AAA showed up in half an hour while my insurance tower was 1 1/2 hours out. Anyone ever have a claim with American Modern? Looking for other options now.

I want to keep the black car "moving" but not in traffic a LOT at all.
This would be the here & there brutal heat wave days for the work commute (the white 83 W/O AC isnt that bad most of the time) and shows.

I'd go direct with American Modern or through the National Corvette which has a similar program with allowed personal driving and occasional to work runs.

MY79 Mokka's insured for $50k and MY80 Just Peachy is at $95k. Also bumped both up to 100/300k liability on both cars...$ 1,155 a year for both, 6,000 mile limit per car. I bumped up Just Peachy from 85k to 95k after installing the Infinnity Box wiring system. Rate went up approx. $ 10.00 No new pics needed. T

So I used Farm Bureau and they gave me the same coverage for the same price as Hagerty.

I have regular full coverage with USAA. They sent me a letter last year suggesting I get more insurance for my '88, and provided contact with the classic car insurer they work with. It was expensive (double what I pay now) and restrictive. A friend, also with USAA, has a 1951 Jag XK120 coupe (recently appraised over $100K) and other regional and national award-winning cars and went with JC Taylor. I got an online estimate that was half the cost and allowed maintenance drives and up to 5000 miles a year. I deleted the out-of-date estimate...this thread reminded me to get on this. http://www.jctaylor.com
EDIT: Just ran a quote. I'm sure this is a starting point...might end up higher, but my friend is happy with them so far.

USAA...I barely accept, because wife wants it. No way Id pay them more, and still get less.
I have 2 windshields to do on the 928 family this summer with them, and Im expecting a fight to NOT use safelite.
