Yeah...it's all part of that "power kit" thing. Evidently it also came with different primary cats, different throttle body, different turbos and a different ECU map.

Not worth the $20k in my opinion but since it came with this thing...I get to enjoy it!

Yeah...I wasn't sure how the anthracite package would look with this interior but it does accent it very well. It's dark which goes well with the lighter titanium blue. It's adds the luxury feel to it. I feel like I am in a luxury cockpit with a performance engine. Best of both worlds.

It's only day 3 but I'm still enjoying every second with her.

Hey G8tor,... since yours is,... most recently,... probably the most highly optioned Cayenne I've heard of in a long time,... I think it would be cool to actually list all of yours.

I listed my options over on your other thread...
https://rennlist.com/forums/cayenne-...the-958-a.html

You should list yours both here, and over there.

Then maybe if the demand is there by RLers, pics can be posted of the obscure & cool options.

Oh, I also had another question for you,... since I have this option, and yet have never seen it posted here for any other Cayenne pic on RL.

Does yours also have the option AAY - "Wing Mirror Painted" ?? - which is the lower half of the side mirrors painted to match the vehicle color.

That is a cool one that I very rarely see. I love it with my white (& blacked out everything else).

Mine did not come with the "wing painted" option code...but it did come with the rare extended exterior black option (like $2,500 option) which I don't really know what it actually entails yet. I think one of them must be wing mirror since my lower and upper piece are of the same jet black paint.

But having a black car, it certainly doesn't stand out like yours with the double white. When I was looking for a white one, I had hoped that it would come with that option cause I liked how it looked in your picture. Not many of them around for sure

I'll post this in the official picture thread but figured I'd post it here too.

Tint was Formula 1 Ceramic. 30 rear, 15 front, 15 pano roof; 80 windshield

Clear corners swapped

Detailed her today with:

Washed with Chemical Guys Black Light Car Wash Soap
Then polished with CarPro Essence Xtreme Gloss Enhancer
Then sealed with CarPro Reload Spray Sealant

Wheels got the same treatment.

Tires and rubber / vinyl pieces got Chemical Guys VRP Vinyl Rubber and Plastic Protectant

Just touched the outside today...too tired to deal with the inside.

Tried to find a spot to showcase our town's landmark but it's tougher than one would have thought. This will have to do for now

So after a quick google search...I think the Extended Exterior Package Painted in Black option contains:

Paint finish in Black: front air intakes (three-part); Wing mirror lower trim including front frame, wing mirror baseplate, separation edge

Hey that's cool. Did not know there are several different ways to order & essentially get the same result (w/r/t wing mirrors). Unless this is a difference in ordering between 2012 & 2013.

I'm wondering what the difference is between "Wing Mirror Lower Trim incl front frame",... and "Wing Mirror baseplate".

And what is a separation edge?

And regarding your "front air intakes" - "Paint finish black" - Does that mean that your front grill intake plastic is painted with paint to match the rest of the vehicle??? That would be something I've never seen before. Most of our front grill intake is that matt black plastic (that most see around their wheel wells & along the perimeter lower valances).

Yours is a very cool option list to dig into. Thanks for taking the time to post up some of these rare options!!

Thanks Steve! Yeah...I'm kinda learning as I go with these options. I know most come with the regular option for exterior painted in black. Based on the order code, this was "extended" exterior and was $2,400 I think. Figured there had to be something cool for that coin. Yes, my grills are painted in the same jet black metallic as the car. Until your post tonight, I figured every cayenne had that. Pretty cool.

No idea what separation edge is. Spoiler?

Tough to tell with these pics in the garage, but perhaps you can see them.

Damn, that is freakin' COOL. Brings new meaning to the slang "blacked out" for sure!

.... now I bet all the guys with black Cayenne's + tons of blacked out features, are gonna take their grills out & have 'em painted to match their black paint.

Mine would look horrible with the grills painted white

Keep em coming G8tor. Post up that full list so we can oogle all the rest!

Haha...yeah I saw a few white ones with painted white grills during my search. Was never my cup of tea but it was different so always respect the folks who try something different.

rear view mirror in leather...... nice. So when you reach up to adjust it, your hand is flushed in supple leather... it was a "Must Have" for the orig owner!!

... and I'm thinking the air that is flowing past the "air vent slats in leather" feels softer on the face too!!

... but seriously, in my 964 Turbo world, leather wrapped air vent slats brings us into the world of package cars, Turbo S2, and some Turbo S Leichtbau's. Wow,... it becomes a very special rare collectible when it has those options. I'm thinking you better not drive it G8tor,... just stick it in your garage & let it sit for about 20 yrs. Lol.

Sorry Wakame...No idea as it's all factory leather. The original builder of my used CTT must have loved leather and checked every box with the word leather in it.
