Totally OT: Unhappy Vanquish Owner
Strange sight as I'm walking through the parking structure at work today. I spot this nice blue AM Vanquish. As I get closer it first appears that someone has vandalized the car by writing graffiti on it. I'm thinking, man, what a shame. Upon closer inspection, I learn the owner isn't thrilled with the fit and finish of his AM and has hired a paint expert to mark up the car highlighting problem areas. I think the owner has sued AM or whomever sold him the car, which is now the subject of legal proceedings.

Three Wheelin'
lol this guy is hilarious. There are misalignment issues bigger than this on every car! Well I have only seen about 50,000 cars so that might not be a big enough sample.

It gets better. This poor bloke you see sitting next to the car told me his boss, who owns it, wanted him to make sure no one parked too close to it to avoid door dings. So this poor guy was there sitting in the parking structure when I arrived at work earlier in the day and was still there next to the car when I left several hours later.

I hate dings as much as the next guy, but why bother with all the sh*t written all over the paint?? I'd be embarassed to drive that thing with all that on it!

^^^^ Because there are many law firms in my building, my best guess is the attorneys were conducting depositions that day and the car was there as an "exhibit" for defense counsel and perhaps his/her expert(s) to see.
I'm sure the owner washed that stuff right off at the end of the day, but yeah, I wouldn't want to be driving around with that all over my car.
Or, maybe the owner keeps it on there and goes to C&Cs and other car events where enthusiasts hang out in an attempt to a) draw negative attention to what he believes is shoddy workmanship, b) publicly shame AM, and c) use the bad PR to leverage a better settlement. Would you put anything past a guy that assigns an underling to sit in a parking structure all day to guard his car? Depending on your viewpoint, it might be a savvy move.
