My name's Adam, I'm from the Las Vegas area and I saw the announcement about this meet in our PCA newsletter. I have an '03 dark teal metallic 996 Carrera and would like to meet with you guys Saturday & Sunday. I see some guys are flying in, so I can take a +1 in my car for driving events if anyone wants to ride in this:
A lil' DTM goodness:
Please let me know who I should give my details to so I can attend. Looking forward to meeting everyone!
And props to whoever got this into the PCA letter in NV!
I got that listed, I had planned to get up and make an announcement about it this Sunday at the monthly club breakfast - but I am gonna have to miss it..... I will make sure someone announces it....
PCA club in LV is great - will probably have a good number join for C&C and the drive up to VAlley of Fire.
@Cuda911: Thank you! Sure, I'll grab a blue shirt in XL, please. I will PM you my address and I'll pay as soon as I get your Paypal/Venmo/Whatever
@Kalashnikov: Thanks! I found the flyer. There is a Guards 996 Turbo and a Black/Dark Grey 997 Carrera S that park in my garage. I'll go slip one under their wipers with my card and hopefully they'll reach out.
@HawkFan#12 & IkoIko911 I'd be willing to meet up *slightly* ahead of time, haha. It's going to be an early morning.
as I mentioned, I won't be able to lead the drive after C&C on Saturday.
so I've mapped it out on Google for everyone.....
but basically, start at Speed Vegas, onto Valley of Fire State Park, onto Sugars Home Plate in Overton to eat, back into Lake Mead National Park to the Hoover Dam
Got some bad news. Wife got laid off today. Probably not prudent if I go drop $1K or more in Vegas next weekend. Frikkin blows but I gotta bow out. Have fun you guys and make sure to post pics of the shenanigans.
Exactly 7 days from this very moment, I will be in Las Vegas and will have undoubtedly enjoyed at least one Bloody Mary for breakfast. So it is written, so it shall be done.
And the top on my cab is giving me grief, so I'll be driving my turbo coupe if I can't get it sorted out in time. But either way, breakfast Bloody Marys are going to happen.
