lowering a 997 turbo
Hi all,
just bought a 2006 997 turbo, have to say its very impressive !
I would like opinions on lowering, I undestand as it has PASM I can lower it about 15mm, have been looking at previous posts, etc,
I am considering ebiech srpings, but I am interested in what others comments are on how it affects the ride quality, I have a few other cars, some more track orientated so dont want another crashy ride,
Thanks
Scott

I just installed Eibach prokit springs last week; I notice no discernible difference in ride quality over the stock springs in either regular or sport mode - which is a good thing IMO. Very subtle drop too, which is perfect for an OEM+ look.

That looks tight and right! Just lowered mine with Eibach as well and have had the same experience. Very pleased, 20mm drop. I posted before and after photos recently. Make sure you get a proper alignment after.

Yep I was following your thread before I had mine installed! Maybe it's because you have 20" wheels but the rear looks lower on yours compared to mine. Waiting to see if the rear settles a bit over the coming weeks.
Lauris, as mentioned - ensure you get an alignment as part of the spring installation.
Cheers
