how much for the coilovers ? I am interested.

 

Hi Guys,

I've got a '13 turbo and thinking about springs. Any reason you guys chose Eibach over H&R or vice versa? Any regrets now that you've had them installed for a few months? Any noticeable difference at all in ride quality?

I've lowered just about every single vehicle I've ever owned (either with springs or coil overs), and i've almost always noticed a difference in ride quality. Never lowered a 911 though... so wondering if there is a difference.

I'm thrilled with it. I was tempted by coilovers, but simply didn't need the performance aspects, so why pay extra? Only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. Others will pipe in with stronger opinions, but I talked to a few shops and got good feedback on both H&R and Eibach and would've used either, but happened to pick Eibach.

 

Do Eibach springs (the H&R supposedly sag much sooner), rear toe links and DSC module.

Just lowered mine a few weeks ago. the job took me about 6-7 hours. I used H&R springs

 

So is Eibach that spring that has the smallest ride height drop? Looking to drop the car only 1/2" all around.

 

Lowered on Ohlin Road & tracks ...... 997TT looks so much better dropped IMHO...

No question, the car looks way better slightly lowered, just concerned about the ride quality.

 

Every time I see cstyles's car I am impressed. Very nice. Looks like that photo was taken in underground parking somewhere in Toronto!

 

if you have coil overs then you can adjust all of that .... I actually like a firm ride...


Drop on springs and you are stuck with whatever it does

Thanks! Amazing what just a fresh set of properly sized wheels with a small Eibach drop can accomplish on the 997TT. I've since added RSS rear toe links and the TPC DSC control box - coincidentally, exactly what a poster above also recommended. I am very satisfied with the entire setup.
