Some other cool places to visit there are the Mountain House Restaurant on Skyline Blvd - very rustic cool laid back place with a killer double cut veal chop. Right down the road from the Mountain House is the Bella Vista - fine French dining with a view of the bay through the redwoods - awesome soufflé S for dessert.

Where / when did you live up there.
Haha, I used to live literally right next to Bella Vista (which recently closed). The Mountain House was my hangout, though. Walter, a barfly there, has owned just about every Porsche you can name. I miss living there tremendously.

Nicely done!

Thanks Tioga! My entire car is Xpel wrapped, there were ring marks (water markes) and I just wipe it down with a microfiber cloth when done. I don't think I would put this on my car if I didn't have Xpel/wrap on the paint.

Top speed? Honestly I don't even know my top speed without a bike mounted. I'm sure the bike cause a lot of drags, so much for an "aero bike"...

That's crazy - we literally lived less than 3 miles apart. I also dined many nights at the Mount House, Jerry and Lorraine were exceptional hosts IMHO.

Maybe we'll have to have a reunion at the Kings Mountain Art Fair. Lol. A terrible time of year for the locals as way to many tourists invaded " our " little mountain.

BTW - I've been looking at your thread regarding GT4's for sale as I " need one ". Looking at upgrading my GTS. Great work on that thread.

wow another local from my place. Your choice of roads is making me home sick.

I'm getting to that age where I'm thinking of selling my business off and going back to Kings Mountain. The roads out there are so much more fun than here on the East Coast. I'm envious.

Don't forget to stop for a beer at the San Gregorio House. LOL

That's my plan. I'm actively trying to sell my business and exploring a place to retire. The Kings Mountain area is at the top of my list.

More jealousy on my side. The Mountain House with a group of Porsche Enthusiasts, windy mountain roads, great food - I'm crying myself to sleep tonight.

Last I remembered they only served dinner and opened mid afternoon on Sunday only.
