Default Which calipers are these?

Hi guys!
We have a really bastardized 911 Frankenporsche from 1969 with you don't know what going on everywhere...

So in the back we have for a 911, very strange calipers fitted and to me they look like they are 944 N/A fronts. Never heard of this combo

with 996 C2 calipers up front and regular 944 fronts in the back.

Didnt think they fit at all.

Are they easy to refurbish?

Thanks alot!

Those appear to be standard issue, early 911, single piston floating calipers...nothing unusual.

Thanks but i have to ask you to find another early 911 with this type of caliper. I've looked everywhere on pictures of 911 and 914s and no one have the same type och caliper design. The 911 uses more of a one piece design to the opposite of this three piece.

Unfortunately there doescnt seem to be a parts number but searching early 944 calipers these look identical to the fronts of an 944.

Anyone else?

/Thanks

Upon second glance, they do appear to be '83-'89 944 front calipers.

Why are they on the back of your 911? Not sure...suspect the front 944 piston is larger than the rear 911 caliper and provides greater clamping force.

Great thanks MelTvin!
So they were in the front of all 944 except Turbo/S2 from start til finish then.

these were also used on early 928 front and rear.
measure the piston size (as best you can) and we can figure out the provenance of this caliper.

944 front caliper mount hole spacing should be 76mm/3", rear caliper would be 95mm/3.75"
911 front is usually 3"/76mm also, don't remember the back.
