Default Help With Wheel Choice

Purchasing new wheels for my 2014 C4S. I've got it narrowed down to HRE P101 in 20" and BBS FI R in 20".
HRE will build the wheel in width and off set to fit my car. The BBS FI R come;
20 x 9 ET 48 17.4 lbs.
29 x 11.5 ET 46 19.85 lbs

I'm currently running Carrera S wheels with 8 and 15mm spacers and like the way the wheels fit in the fenders. If I go with the BBS 48 and 46 ET I'm hoping it will have the same look without having to use spacers.

What do you guys think, HRE or BBS?

Thanks for your advice

HRE. Better customization in this case.

if you can get to SoCal, HRE can laser scan your wheel wells.

That rear wheel is going to look sick! And I can't believe it weighs less than 20lbs at 29"

I'd go HRE as well.

HRE have more personality and are perceived to be higher end. Certainly a lot more customization.

BBS are a really good, solid, proven wheel. Arguably better if you are going to track.

I believe HRE is your best choice. They will be made to perfectly fit your car - with the offset you choose.
I would have to admit to being biased: I have HREs on both of my cars and personally think the P101 is one of the nicest wheel designs available. It wasn't around back when I got new wheels for my 997 so it has a more classic design, but I put the P101s in "brushed dark clear" on my Cayenne a couple of years ago and love them.

You will need spacers with the BBS wheels to achieve the look that you are after. You should not have to use spacers when you pay for wheels at this price.

Because of HRE's customizable offsets I think it's a clear choice for you.

Both manafactureres build quality wheels. I have owned both. Spacers are not the issue, a quality proper fitting spacer with the correct lugs will offer a long term no issue solution. It comes down to your preference of style and price.
