Fake it till you make it? I'm not sure how this will go over here, but I decided to put some color on my 997 C2. This is what I've got so far. Wheels/tires were ~week ago, decals were yesterday. I plan on putting on a GT3 bumper next.
You can buy the "RS" badge from places like Sunset Porsche or Suncoast Porsche.
Lol. I'm not about to get into false advertising. It's one thing to look like one, it's another to claim it is. No, I just want the look and some of the performance of the parts, but I know it still won't be the same.

+1
I love seeing modified cars. Stock is boring. But I cringe when it's badged something it is not.

Agreed! You might not be able to afford a GT3 but it will still cost many thousands for front and rear bumpers, center exhaust, maybe some small performance enhancements etc. Money that you'll likely not get back if you ever wanted to sell in the future.
Like. A lot. Then again I really like tribute air cooled 911s and 356 outlaws. I've got a TT rear deck/ wing and prior owner also rebaged as 911S. I'm thinking a GT3 front and forged deep dish wheels are in the future. Also been thinking late model 911 moded cars need a name.
Looks good. Some people will hate, some people will show love. I say as long as you dont badge your car as something it's not, then its not posing. Style your car however you want.
