I agree with you Bash. What seems to have been the proverbial ugly duck, will become the a financial swan someday. Especially the limited number 996s.

good chart! What does the same timeframe look like for MY 2000?

I have grown to really like the all-clear MKI headlights... I was not ashamed to have them on my car at all. My coupe will be MKI with solid clear lenses. In fact, I'm not even looking at MKII cars.

(My next 996 is already picked out and waiting for me to finalize the deal this coming week, but mumms the word on further details until it's actually in my garage - don't want to jinx the deal).

The reality of true numbers like Hagerty that pulls data from dealer, auction, and private sales is that it looks like the average 996 is still depreciating. As I mentioned before, the only ones are in increasing in value are the pristine low miles cars, but they're hard to find.
