Correct. The turn key cars have an aluminum floor bonded and riveted to a tubular frame. The frame itself is a complete jig welded DOM tubular construction that includes all the mounts needed to accept an engine from a type 1 VW, Porsche type 4, or a Subie EJ20/25.

2019 this shop closed, yet is still putting out ads in classic sales, wants $49k for 550 silver with white striped decals and black 19s. He is a middle man that puts custom add ons onto Vintage replica from Calf.
He had nice detailed interiors, well done using Vintage tube chassis with VW pans, 914 and subbie motors. Too bad his financing crashed and disappeared with customer cars prepaid and when they came to collect their cars
before banks ceased them the shop was already turned into a flooring showroom retail store with a finance guy looking for the owner of SEDUCTIVE in AZ
