Default Rennlist running down value of a SC 996

https://rennlist.com/articles/sale-s...-carrera-wait/

Article just posted about this low mile supercharged 996 on Ebay, running it down saying "doesn't sound quite right" and "outrageous".

I don't think it is priced too badly at all....

I mean, it was based in opinion...not entirely objective.

The author's opinion is that it's not worth it.

My opinion is if the block, pistons and friends were built to take boost, then its worth it.

I don't think the engine would need to be built to handle only 5 psi.

I sold a set of wheels a few years back and the guy that bought them had this exact setup on a 996 with a 3.6. It went like a scalded cat! Power of a 996 Turbo on a budget.

Is that electrical tape wrapped around the hose to the air box?

That's the hose from the intercooler to the manifold. Ya looks kinda weird in the pics. Maybe some type of wrap to keep the heat out.

Looks like the kit has been on the car for a while and that's good!

I don't know who writes these rennlist cover page articles but I think they are generally bogus. The opinions and sometimes incorrect information cheapens the validity of Rennlist.com IMO

Don't forget the grammar

The “runny yoke” headlights are also well in tact, free of major scuffs and general discoloration.
I'd love to drive it, hate to buy it though.
