So, the grips have come off my Garage 9 Jager Engineering GT style shift handle.
The top carbon fiber look piece has been loose for a bit, and now the trim piece under that. I removed them both to get an idea what I was dealing with.
To my untrained eye, it looks like I can just 'reglue' the pieces back onto the shift handle.
Herein lies my question: what adhesive should I use? I pretty much don't know squat about adhesives.
Adamant1971 and GT6ixer: I did not know such a thing existed. Thanks! I will research it.
Imo000: I have thought about that. I ALWAYS keep JB Weld in the workshop.
Randy V: Hmm...that is something I had not thought of. I had planned on jigging something up to hold the pieces tight on the shifter while whatever adhesive set up.
I will research epoxy glue. Thanks!
polecat702: By chance, are you talking about DAP Weldwood contact cement? I had not thought of that. I have used that in the past for non car projects, it holds like nobody's business.

Yeah, I guess Wilhold was bought out by DAP. As you know it really works!
BTW, it's what I've used in my cars for years, on trim, broken plastic pieces NLA, lots of things in the interior of my 928.
Jerry Feather: Thanks for that info, I appreciate it. Can 3M General Purpose Adhesive Remover be purchased at the jobber level, or is it only from supply houses? Meaning can an amateur slob like me purchase it locally?
polecat702: Sweet! Good to know the contact cement is useful on the interior of a 928. Mine will need help sooner or later...
