Eric! I found your car's twin! Or are 928s into the new thing about hiding in the weeds? Only $7,000. Don't expect to last long....

Nice find, Eric.

Being in the shade of all that overgrown mess...probably helped save the paint and interior.

If you don't plan on keeping...I'd send it off to John at CCF Auto and have him fix the fender and minor paint repairs, get it running, clean the interior and flip it. Probably stand to make a couple grand, or more, with summer right around the corner.

Brian.

Oh my.

Condition "good"?

Really? That's "good"?

If I was serious, I'd call and offer the guy $200.

Reminiscent of the one near Syracuse that had trees growing in the back seat. But he only wanted $3000 for that one.

He said parts cars can be found in worse shape than this all day long in LA for $2500 or more. While true he also believes his asking price is fair.

Default Picked it up today

It was a good weather day today so I drove over to the west side of the state to pick up the 928. Kind of a unique way to load the car on a U-Haul trailer:

Chance favours the prepared mind!

Excellent find- that damage looks minimal at first glance.

Just FYI the Driver's side fender on U-Haul trailers folds out of the way way to make it easier to open the drivers door for ingress and egress, or to keep drivers door open to steer from outside the vehicle. Didn't figure that one out until the second time I used one. Makes life a lot easier and another reason I like using these. Little rubber straps fore and aft of fender keep it secured - you can see one in your first two photos....

You win. Nicely done. It's the 'sport' version of the touring car with sport seats, LSD and 5sp. May also have sport shocks, but not on the option list. Like the color, wish I found it first.
