Default Couldn't let it sit there...

Well, I drove past this thing about half a dozen times this summer. Had to go to the City offices to find out who owned the property and then wait a week for the guy to call me back so I could find out who owned the car.

1984 5 speed, odometer shows about 82k. Supposedly owned by a local doctor, then he hit a deer at the left front, and it's sat ever since (about 3 years). Runs but doesn't stay running. Looks to have manual sport seats. Not sure what I'm going to do with it, but for $1000.00 I pulled the trigger.

Rob, if you read this could I get a VIN check: WP0JB0925ES860510

Nice Score! Looks like an original Monterey SQR 23 radio. That's worth $$$ right there.

Wow! It's a "needle in a haystack" or "car in the weed jungle"! Very nice interior. Is it mildewy underneath all those vegetations?

That's some serious sleuthing! Maybe this should be moved to the "You might be a 928 addict if" thread!

To be determined. It looked surprisingly good back in the summer when I first looked at it. Haven't picked it up yet. The guy was nice and moved it into a garage. I'm curious to see how it cleans up.

The tweeters are a few hundred each, as are the woofers. You're easily even, so you're playing with the house's money. Have fun!

Surprised the option list doesn't show sport springs and shocks. Something to checkout. How old is the gas in it? Old gas would explain difficulty keeping it running. Interior looks pretty good, particularly the dash, considering how it's been sitting. Submit a pic for the calendar
