Default 997 GT2 wheels on mt 997.2 GTS?

Will the 997 GT2 wheels fit properly on my 2012 GTS? A friend has a set of perfect takeoffs that I'm interested in buying. Seems like a good idea...
Thanks!

Thanks!
Should fit just right. Both the GT2 and the GTS are 997 widebodies so same dimensions front and rear.

Fronts are about the same. Only major difference is that GT2 rear wheels are 12 inch while GTS rear wheels are 11 inch both with an ET of 51mm so the 1 inch extra width should not cause a problem.

It should work. My gts has GT2 fitment tire sizing and wheel widths. The wheels on my car are +49 in the rear. Good fit, sits flush, no rubbing.

I have 12" rear wheels with 46 offset on my GTS. No issues. Fronts are 9" with 50 offset.

Great info, thanks! Do you notice any change in steering or handling from the wider wheels?

Went from 235 wide to 245 wide tires on the front, and 305 to 325 on the rear and I'm sure there's some extra grip there.

Pic of mine with newer wheels/tires which should give you a better idea of outcome.

That's a great pic to give me an idea of what to expect! I'm going to get the wheels and new tires when I get back in the country. I'll post a photo when they're on. Thanks again!!

Same setup here. 245 out front on 9 inch wheel and 325 out back on 12 inch wheel. Yes there is a noticeably more grippy/stable feeling. Car feels more planted.
