Got it some clear Xpel Ultimate clear bra for the front bumper. Heard of a local installer Clear Choice Clear Bra near Philadelphia with excellent recommendations here on RL and on Google. Will see how it will hold up this winter.

Thanx. These products were recommended to me by Greg at Signature Detailing in NJ. Nice Guy, did a great job and seems to be well known in the small community. Reasonable Rates.

He worked on my car and knew my driving, parking and utilization habits. I basically wanted the least maintenance time possible especially in a condo garage with no water.

I tried it out watching YouTube videos and instructions from here for the ONR Spray:

https://www.google.com/amp/www.detai...?client=safari

After ONR spray I did the optimum detailer and gloss for the extra shine, but not sure if it's okay that way.

Next I am going to learn Aquapel for the windshield.

Do you have any suggestions for a car that is coated versus not coated?

Thanks for the tip on the optimum QD.

I can't believe this car looks better now after 5 years than when it was in the showroom!

Just amazing.

What brand is your LED light?
Do you know what colour temperature it outputs?
I'm looking for one myself.
The Scangrip one looks pretty neat even though it seems a bit low colour temp wise. It isn't cheap though...

Be careful with putting too much wheel cleaner on the center lock nut (if you have one) or don't let is stay on too long. There was a post if it discoloring.

I change the oil every 5k ( probably over kill) but since it only gets about 4K a year then to the dealer for the 10k service. So with the oil minder using mileage and time which ever comes first I just bought ICARSOFT POR ll obd reader. It was pretty intuitive and reset oil minder for intermediate service. I'm happy with it besides all the other diagnostic tests it can read and reset if necessary.

Bought a new console switch assembly from Suncoast so I can add the PSE button to use with my new AWE Switchpath exhaust. Once I install the new assembly I'll take it to Porsche for programming. Kinda sucks that you have to buy a whole new assembly just to get that one button though.

Yeah that method is fine... sometimes when I'm extra OCD I will do an ONR wash and then go back over the car with detailer just for the extra shine you mentioned as well. I've found the detailer helps with cutting back on dust collection by a slight margin so I never hesitate to use it whenever. If you haven't looked at the Optimum Spray Wax I'd highly recommend that as well... as easy to apply as the quick detailer and it really amps up the shine + slickness. I'm not ashamed to share that I waxed my car 3 times in 2 months, when you can wax the entire car in 15mins or so why not!

As for coatings, my car has Opticoat Pro and from what I gather it works quite well with other Optimum products... no complaints from my end and from my experience everything works well together.

Nice! That is one of the many items on my list of things to buy. Did you buy it from Suncoast?

Same here but it will be down the road given the price. Also wasn't aware there was an Alcantara GT wheel for PDK cars without multi-function... aside from the GT3 RS wheel which is 2x stupid money. Got a part number?
