Two of the three are stripped, use the next size screw?

Whats the next best option?

Try new screws, it might be the teeth that are worn. Then go up a size, the concours judges are very unlikely to spot that. (Just kidding, they will...)

Will they be able to tell from just the head of the screw?

Maybe you could find a screw with the same head but machine threads and then drill the hole out and put in a flush rivnut with the same threads.

I hate those little screws! My big hands don't agree with them, and you darn near have to put them in blind if you don't have the sunroof in just the right spot.

Its not that bad, with the roof half open..slide in the panel, and work the tabs behind the screws (dont remove them when you pull the panel), and then open it all the way, put your head in the sunroof opening, and you can see em just fine.

I used good lighting from portable COB LED inspection lamp, and magnetised screwdriver to hold screws before starting them in tabs. It was fiddly but not frustrating. Good light is key.

Or an 18yr old nearby that can focus that close.

Oh yes that too. The biggest irritation working on my 928 is taking my glasses on and off depending on what I'm trying to focus on!
