Lapis blue is the new black... New owner thread

The Lapis Blue color holds up very well and even after 14+ years and almost 300K miles mostly out in the elements the paint is just fine. The looks new -- from a distance -- after a good wash and wipe down. Up close one can see some of the ravages of the miles.
The top had to be replaced within the last year when it developed a leak but the original top though a bit faded still looked pretty darn good.

Congrats! I'm a big fan of Lapis Blue, too. Cool Carfax story!
(yeah, I know the car is dirty - a full scrubbing/detail is scheduled for this weekend)

I had a similar story with helpful dealer service input gleaned from Carfax and also bought sight unseen though I did pick it up with my trailer. Otherwise, same car - C2 Cab w/leather, heated seats and Sport Design wheels. I like the sinister colors on a coupe but I think a cab is better with something brighter like Lapis Blue.
