Default New cab top

A lot of us have been complaining regarding excessive wear of the cab tops. Mine is a 2014 c4s and the top was definitely showing wear that I was concerned about.
After I discovered a stitch that was coming apart, the dealer, without hesitation agreed to replace it.

Just an FYI for my fellow Cab owners to keep an eye out for.

Wow, thanks for this info! Glad to hear in your case that they covered it.

Has anyone replaced their cab top outside of the warranty? I'm curious about the cost.

The dealer said it was about a 5K job to replace the top.

Back in March we saw an example that the List Price for just the top was $4,422.59. Probably higher now, and you still have to add in labor.

If that's from the folding process and mechanism (some snag), I'd say 'covered'.
If that's from washing, driving, cougar, scraping ice (whatever), I'd say 'not covered'.

Ask your dealership. Worse they can say is 'no'.

Haha, no cougars here!

Car is a Southern car. Never seen snow. And that lines up perfectly on a crease where it folds.

I will be asking them when I bring it in for my stupid broken hands on the Sport Chrono clock!
