Did my Cab get put through a carwash?
Curious if that is what might have caused these scratches in my top?
I left my car at the repair shop to fix a small scratch on the bumper and when I picked it up the top had all these scratches on it.
When I picked it up they told me they had washed it and I didn't think anything of it. I put the top down remotely as I was approaching it to pick it up, so did not notice until a day or so later when I put the top back up.
I tried washing it over the weekend to see if the marks would go away but they remain. Any ideas how to repair this or clear scratch these marks off?

Sorry to see that. That looks awful. Never seen that before.
Two important things:
1) never let the dealership wash your cars
2) always thoroughly inspect your car upon pickup
About the only thing I could recommend now would be the RaggTopp cleaner and then the RaggTopp protectant.
Can't tell from your pictures if the fabric is actually damaged, or if those are dirt/wax marks? Hope for the latter, as that can be corrected by RaggTopp.

You'll need a quality soft cleaning brush like this Swiss one:

That was my initial thought.
The Pcar dealership sometimes will wash it when it is in for oil or other maint, and I've never had this problem. This was at their recommended body shop (also owned by Penske as is the dealer, so not exactly a fly-by-night outfit). I doubt they waxed it, and I washed it yesterday with no apparent effect, so I doubt it is just dirt marks.
Yep that's my next move, before I attempt anything else on my own.

Definitely looks like automated carwash marks -- from those long noodles they drag over the car surface swishing side-to-side. Very sorry to see that! I had a very similar fabric top on an M3 (same color!) and had an abrasion that wouldn't come out at all -- looked just like what you have in your picture.
I found that many of these car dealers have set-up their own facility for washes, and for example where I am my P-car dealer is a group of dealership brands owned by a family that sells everything they can -- Kia, Toyota, Lexus, Maserati, Porsche, etc. They have a drive-through facility to quickly wash a car when showing or delivering to clients. So a Nissan truck may go through just before a $200k TT!
I forbid my dealer from courtesy washing or otherwise "detailing", and make sure to state so when dropping the car off with the SA every single time.
Good luck and keep us posted.

Bummer! In the meantime I recommend you keep the top down unless it is raining, and in that case you probably won't notice it when it's wet! Good luck & keep us posted on the fix!
