The beginning of the day was rather ok but the afternoon was "Driving like you're in Hell".

Too many serious accidents.

You mean Hej?

No, I didn't realize until today that the driver probably was Kenny Bräck. Today I just saw the car once when I drove pass it (at the parking :-) totally covered by people. I didn't want to intrude.

Anyway I must say that it was brave of them driving that invaluable car today with all the craziness on the track. But who knows, maybe I'll see them tomorrow.

Me and Thorsten gonna try to bribe into the fully booked trackday tomorrow. We need a speed fix after todays misery in the slow lane.

Some guys have all the luck.

I arrived at this corner maybe 20 seconds after this happened . I take this corner at 180-190kph.
(It is interesting when there is dirt everywhere.)

Its hard to be quick with debris and yellow flags at the Ring.
That's the dangerous part.

I watch several Ring video's and have seen quite a bit of white RS.
One went dirt tracking after passing a car after Schwedenkruez at Aremberg.
Just out braked himself. Probably not you, you need the Swedish flag on your roof!

Nope - I'm glad if you don't see things that I don't want you to see

And yep, stayed on track all time with the RS.

Drove the GT3 and broke the left rear wheel hub during warm-up lap.
Spun but didn't hit anything (Eichbach->Brunnchen 1).

Lady fortune was probably in the car.

Be careful you have had a bunch of luck!
Maybe inquire with the better half as well

What happened to the rear upright, I know they time out?
Eichbach -> Brunnchen, I'm surprised I haven't seen it on video!

I guess I was lucky in that way too... Probably it might been caught on a flatbed.

The upright broke on the way up from the left hand compression between Wippermann and Eichbach. The right side was loaded but as the car got into more even load the car started to behave as it had a puncture, wanted to go left, after a short while the wheel locked completely, snapped of the drive shaft and was just in hold place by the brake caliper.

I was very lucky. Nothing else but the driveshaft and the upright is damaged.

I'll post video when I'm back home.

Just something I have noticed (many times):

Driving is the best diet.

After 6 days in The Green Heaven with hotel breakfasts, german lunches and festive dinners with the necessary beers, no normal workout at all, just driving:

Result -1.1kg

Downside: Very expensive 1.1kg weight reduction.

I've noticed the same. Must be the cardio of scaring the crap out myself, or all the walking sound the paddock drewling over cars perhaps

certainly isn't a lack of beer

Speaking of heart rate:

Red line is a 7.45 lap and the black one is a 8.05 (with yellow flag).
Black line: I'm hunted by friend in a 991RS.
You can clearly see that I'm more stressed with him in my rear mirrors and you can also see the dip in pulse at the yellow flag situation.

I have lot of laps now with pulse measuring and it seems as when going faster, concentrating more, the pulse rises to about 120bpm. The pulse for me is generally 110-120bpm with occasional 130bps peaks some times.

Cool. How are you capturing pulse data and integrating it with you lap data?
