Good pickup on Apricot! That and Light Orange are the two I asked Porsche Exclusive to render for me.
I have a few thoughts and appreciate input!
1. The stripe is extremely hard to reorder if it gets damaged. I've been considering having someone do the striping and side script locally - however it won't be 'factory original'
2. I can totally see the black script tying in the wheels. However, it seems like it stands out a bit too much on the large orange swath that is the side of the car. The green could look really cool. What kind of green would you suggest?
3. Silver wheels look cool and on the black car they look good. Traditionally I've thought that silver wheels would need silver window surrounds to tie in the rest of the car. The monochromatic nature of the black/silver car brings it all together. With the LO, I'm curious and the render makes them look better than I would have imagined.
4. Your renders are awesome!! Thank you for doing all that work.
5. The mirrors I think I'll leave LO with just the black lowers. Otherwise, they can be a bit distracting
6. I also like the old school stripes down the middle like some of the examples below.
Some inspiration for my build. Harvested from the inter-web. Please chime in with comments!
This may be the first R that Rennlist built

Bartron, I don't think you can go wrong if it's a colour scheme you like. The 991 911 has been a winner in many colours!
1. If money not an issue, I would personally go with "factory" options. But that is entirely dependent on how much this fine point matters to you. Some people don't care if it didn't come from the factory and have done amazing things aftermarket. For instance, lots of people put on a different exhaust (me included). The stripes should be pretty easy to replicate later on if they are damaged (even if not 100% original or exact), and should be reasonably durable under protective film. I think 3M says this film is good for "up to 12 years" or so, but I suspect it could even hold up for longer than that.
2. Tough call on which green, but I'd suggest a darker green, perhaps bordering on olive, such as Khaki 100-2418. I personally prefer Magenta, but that's just me.
3. Silver is nice too. More predictable, less unique perhaps.
4. You're welcome!![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
5. Mirrors in CF: I'm six of one, half a dozen of the other.
6. I doubt the factory would do anything other than the usual "R" shaped stripes. I like the "R" stripes. I think they're special for this car and to me an easy "yes!"
7. Singer makes a great looking car. I do like their design cues, and think the slightly lighter, tone-on-tone side stripes with contrasting script are fantastic. But personally I wouldn't try to copy an existing Singer. If I was buying a 911R, I'd want it to be a 911R not a Singer.
Hope that's helpful.

911R at the Americana show in Manhasset Ny. Brought by Porsche of Roslyn. This is the second time I see an R in person. Those that think it's just a Carrera S haven't seen one in person.
