Tires may not be total trash but will be at least 1 second per mile slower. Lol

Take the wheels/tires off your trailer and put it on blocks. Like other things mentioned here, it's "only a deterrent" but it sure would be hard for your average thief to drag the rig off quickly.

If you are using R compound tires they are junk if you let them freeze just once.
Look at your tire manufacture specs. Pirelli for example can not drop below 45 maybe 38 or something. I have seen them check and fail within 2 laps after being exposed to cold weather for a couple of weeks.

And when they fail sometimes you crash.
Take care of your tires, especially over the winter.

So must all R-comp tires be stored in heated garages or houses during NE winters? Including Nitto NT-01?

Check the website of the manufacturer of your tires. Here's what nitto links to on theirs.

Thx for the reference. So they should be fine in a non-heated attached garage (with a heated bedroom above) then. I'm sure it doesn't get under 15F there. And even if it does, the instructions say just not to move them when that cold or colder. As long as they stay put and off the car until it gets warm again, it could get even colder without affecting them, no?
