Actually an X51 baffle is your top priority when moving to R-comp tires.

I should have asked: You don't have any rubbing on the front? People have said the 245/40r18s rub on the suspension.

I would dearly love to stuff 225/45r18s to match 295/35r18s on the back, but I fear it would rub everywhere.

I do not have suspension rubbing on the front but the front and rear fenders are rolled. Lowered slightly doesn't exactly help the issue but they would need to be rolled anyway IMHO at stock height.

Wheels are polarizing always...

I run R1R's on the rear and R888's on the front of the NSX. The NSX is pretty well-known for being a handful in the rain but it's actually pretty good in the wet. Standing water is a COMPLETELY different dynamic tho. You're 100% right there, you'd better be ready with a soft touch on the wheel.

^^^Beautiful car, but those wheels don't work... makes it look like a muscle car. I'd go back to the turbo twist IMHO, but I understand what you're trying to accomplish.

Those beef'r wheels look similar to the Ferrari 308 style back in the '80s.

I'm sure you do understand that I was going for was a bigger contact patch. And I don't disagree with you, the twists are a great looking wheel and very right for the vehicle. But the OZ's came with the vehicle so why not give them a shot? Can't see them from the driver's seat lol.

Yep, that's why I said I understand what you're trying to accomplish. It's all good... it's your car, if you want to put 22" spinners, then more power to you.! ha!

p.s. don't sell the 18" twists... you may want them in the future if you ever sell the car.

I had a similar experience as this. My car came with new v12 tires. After I put kwv3 coilovers on the car would break loose so easily. I then switched to nt01 tires. I was able to regain control of the beast. I've never went back from using these tires.

We are on the same page, 100%.
The twists are going nowhere, that's for sure.
You got 22" spinners for me? I'll trade you my Daytons.
And there is nothing quite like the sound of a B3!
