The high pressure fuel injectors could be a rare, but troublesome problem for the early DFI engines. Conditioning on cars with engines suffering from bad high pressure fuel injectors, the 2009s are more likely than later models to do so.

Worthless anecdatum: A friend had a 09 cab with this issue multiple times.

In John's defense (not that he needs speaking for), they don't just 'sell cars'. In fact, he helped me out with a couple of harnesses removed from another pcar. Didn't sell me a car.
Porsche gave them the title Brand Ambassador because Porsche wants them to do more than just sell cars. I know not every BA will embrace what that means but the few I've dealt with have been much more than just sales folks. Sorry to be OT.

Amusingly, a colleague was also looking at 997.2s and also test drove that one, but ended up with the black one at RMC motors. He was so excited to drive it to work today for the first time. Pretty awesome to be such a bad influence
