Yep, I still have it. It was a giant spool. My top is Metropol blue (somewhat faded), and it's a close match.

I'll send photos of the current state of my top if you are interested.

I am beginning to think I might not have the skills or patience necessary to do this. I know an upholstery guy, though, who might be down for doing it for me.

I need to clean it, but it was mostly easy enough to get at the seam from the inside and do what's mostly a hidden job.
