And for those that dont know..... a "wrist shot" from a WIS is considered the same as a garage shot on a car forum. Its not considered "bragging". There are plenty of WIS on this forum. WIS ='s watch collector.
IMHO Omega is a better analogy - unmatched history, horological innovations, records, etc. A Speedmaster Professional is possibly the ultimate gear head watch (Magnus wears one if that helps). And the WUS thread "what omega owners drive" has over 2k posts.
FWIW a "WIS" (Watch Idiot Savant) isn't necessarily a collector - most have only 2 or 3 mechanicals.

I actually got a bottom of the line Rolex for my 16th birthday. It was very surreal. We weren't rich by American standards and I was really hoping for a car. Traded it for a Tag and some boot when I got to college. It bought a lot of beer and I still had a nice piece.
