Werks Reunion yesterday was unreal. 1100+ Porsches showed up, and according to some estimates over 10,000 people. Never seen it this busy. The corral field was a sea of Porsches. Some pretty special cars were on display and I'm sure others will post their photos but here's a few that I liked:
This little blue one took top honors in its class and the actual person who built it, some chap named Marc Clowes, was there to show it:
A "McPorsche" in the overflow parking:
Sharkwerks' GT2 alongside Jeff Zwart's pre-A at the Zentrum last night:

We were honored to have Marc visit our shop the day before. Never had a doubt that the car would win!

Graham ^^ Please check for January emails re-sent, wanting to to read the latest on your beautiful Blusuvius, saying thanks for your surprise email about Total 911, & requesting your mailing address for a gift (which happens to match Sid's "car-warming" present).

As 1 of 9m's biggest fans (who but Colin has started two threads highlighting their Speedsters?), I'll say it again...

Nobody does it better than 9m's experts especially in Rivi Blue.
CONGRATULATIONS, Sid!
As a passenger in another RLer's car who I gave my corral pass to, took this pic literally the 1st second I saw "Sid" drive in
...surprised to find the 'Sid' I was waving to was instead Marc, & maybe he was surprised to see me waving from someone else's 993.
Likewise then literally ran over to concours entrance to catch Marc & his passenger/wife Debs to say hi in person & invite them to park next to 'Speedy' - luckily what organizers were thinking, too.
Sid (AKA RLer 600RR & WhiteCab)-- Thrilled to see Marc again & learn more about him than 2011's dinner with him (who knew he was a 13-year+ concours judge?). Amazing man, & Debs was a hoot to have along, too.
However, sorry to hear Marc say you stayed home not feeling up for the concours.
In addition to texts last week inviting your new Blue to a showcase premier at Laguna Seca's Monterey Historics, check for yesterday's voicemail hoping you're feeling better & might like visitors as we drive back to our home state.

Speaking of friendships - when offered my parking pass, you mentioned business stuff that got in the way of Werks.
In the meantime, a RL friend happily made good use of it.
