The gasket looks copper?
How did you do the headers?

I have one of those radiator/oil cooler combo's and its not working well.
Car runs hot when its warm out and to the 3rd line on the temp gauge with ac on. Not sure if others have had this problem but wish I had kept the stock set up at this point.
Anyway, looking forward to your finished project.

Cometic with copper spray.

Stock headers with modified crossover.

Very nice engine. Why do you use copper spray isnt cometic strightly for dry instalation?

Will you try to control the Variocam with a PWM input instead of the factory on/off input?

Do you think doing so would allow "stepped" Variocam?
As in...different levels of advance vs on/off?

It depends on how other components such as cams, intake, headers, etc balance each other. It makes sense to me that shorter than stock 968 length runners may work better with a switch point higher than 5500 rpm, all other components being stock.
