Got lucky and found some new rear calipers and pads locally here in Houston...fronts will probably be harder to find as they are specific to the Turbo.
That's crazy $$ for outdated tech. New generations of carbons are miles better than 997 pccbs. Just my 10c. I'd rather keep the steels and trash them for cheap on the track.

Amigo, you have this all wrong...in the Porsche Universe..what I think you want to say is "I will add the Aerokit when my spoiler lifts "never" fail..." Otherwise, waiting for them to fail will ensure your lifts will survive through the apocalypse and end of times!!!! As an added bonus, at least bet someone (me) $1,000.00 that your lifts will never fail...LoL!!!! I'll give you back $999.99 of our bet.

The Aerokit and Champion RS184 wheels were installed by the dealer when the car was purchased new. I still have the original wheels which have never been used, but unfortunately I do not have the original rear spoiler...
I am a big fan of the Aerokit, especially when looking at it from the rear.

I don't disagree with your assessment, it is a rather asinine project...however, I have really been enjoying the brake feel of the pccbs and would do it over again.
