I would surely make the bellmouthes/trumpets radiuses a bit bigger.
Maybe it is the reflection or something but seems to be too small radius. Also with CNC you can easily make half radius trumpets that sit ~10mm above the plenum floor which would help airflow.

Beautiful work. I also am curious about the bellmouths though. What sort of cost on this piece?

One of the best looking ITB adoptions I have seen. Guess the proof will be in the pudding after car is running. Tuning these is a bit of an art from what I have read. Can't wait to see your progress.

Yeah the r's of bellmouths look a bit sharp but its really not, design has been tested in flowbench. It has some nice tweaks for example venturi stuff for 1st cylinder. Custom design cost was +1keur. these guys build +1000hp turbo engines so they know flow stuff..
This piece has 3" intake port and flange for Tial BoV

Well, we can swap for 4V head when such is ready. I have S2 engine that should be rebuilt, but want to do it properly when done. Could be used as a base for 3ltr 16v turbo..

That is a work of beauty (in appearance at least)...I can only imagine the hours spent creating it on the CNC.

Can you ask them why they didn't opt for Bellmouths that are 'proud' or raised though?

Are you saying that if someone wanted to purchase one from this company they'd be looking at less than $2k Euro for the complete package?

When you start spending a lot of time on a flow bench you find that many things that are suppose to be important are not and many things that no one mentions are highly important

I'm sure they have their reasons. Equally, I'm sure people haven't used bellmouths for no reason at all. As you say Shawn, the flowbench should show up most aspects in this regard.

Costs are in that ballpark excluding the throttle bodies. As its custom design there is always variables but we have done the JIG for 8v head.
As every engine compartment can be different one have to check that dimensions suit to their application.

We'll try to get figures from dyno once everything is set. Im not targetting high figures as block is not build for such, but it will be interesting to see how it works in this application.

Contrary to spending a lot of time on the internet and just blindly following someone, I have made my own intakes for almost ten years and they have been working quite well, actually very well. Combined with ideas gotten from factory race cars with flowbench and some common sense has been great so far.
