I probably should have gotten on the list for the GT2 RS but, truth be told, the car terrifies me.

I seriously doubt that there would be any GT3 or GT3RS with NA engine any time soon.

I paid over MSRP for my RS and it is what it is. I'm going to be enjoying the car on the track and driving the car and if it goes down by 50% in value so be it. Still annoying with all the games that were played. I hope they do come out with an NA 991.2 GT3, an NA 991.2 GT3 RS, and an NA 981.2 GT4.

There were so many deposits down at my dealer for future vehicles I had to make one up. I am first in line for the new GTX 6M.

It would be fine with me if the 918 owners start flipping their cars, at which point the pool of VIPs dries up and availability improves for limited production cars like the 911R. I'd jump at the 911R over my 2015 GT3, as much as I love the latter.

Most GT3s spend most of the time on the street, and the wing is of no use for such driving, at least here in the US. In the meantime, my 50th Anniversary car (manual) is the closest I'll probably get to the 911R. Not really moaning here: I'm VERY fortunate to have the cars I do.

Perhaps Porsche is just waiting for the VIP list to atrophy with time, before irritation reaches a crescendo among the enthusiasts whose only sin was not spending $800k for the 918.

A related question and a comment. Although 'lesser' cars than a GT3/RS, may I ask if GTS cars are considered 'GTs'? You guys talk of 'GT car allocations', and curious if GTSs are part of that. Thanks.

And the coment is that every RS potential buyer who doesn't get one, is probably getting a McLaren, R8, or any other similar car. If Porsche is not getting any of the 'AMV' pie, why not make more? Seems stupid to me. As long as supply doesn't exceed demand, everybody would be happy, no? Many more buyers of RS cars, and all paying MSRP. And Porsche making more money. And dealers making more than enough at MSRP too (they shouldn't be selling above MSRP anyway). Just curious about the logic to leave production short when the demand is there. These are track cars after all, and Porsche wants them driven, not collected.
