Default RS On track for the first time

Took the RS to AMP today for the first time now that I've survived (most of) break in by being very gentle on the car.

Haku met me at AMP this morning to experience the RS in its element. It was toasty out there, we started at 10 AM and ambient temps were 84 and sunny. track was over 95 degrees.

The Fabspeed side deletes sound fabulous, I am in love with them. Perfect exotic rumble at low RPM and metallic scream at high RPM. What an awesome mod - IMO better than the center exhausts out there. Plus the weight and heat reductions are a huge benefit. They blew 99dB at the meter so will have no trouble whatsover passing sound at AMP.

I have a ton of laps at AMP and ave a pretty good feel for speeds of a GT3 in various sections. I found the RS to be 2-3 MPH faster in most sections. And moreso when torque is an advantage. For those of you that know the track, my max speed climbing the hill after turn 6 was 79 MPH. In my old GT3 my max was 75, so the midrange torque as you enter that section really made a difference. I was confident pushing the car into the straightaway at 110ish and max speed on the straightaway was 130MPH at the start finish line.

Turn in is sharper, the noise is better, midrange punch is stronger and the car feels more connected to the pavement. On the track, it still is very much a gt3, with everything dialed up a notch. A total blast.

Overall, I was thrilled with the performance and can't wait to go back when the temps are a bit lower. I felt the MPSC2's getting greasy towards the end of the day, when it was over 90 and sunny.

Track on GT3'ers!

Awesome car and driver! I was driven for a few laps and was grinning the entire time.

A LOT of fun for sure!
Really a different experience to that of a 991 GT3. Just everything... Noticeably BETTER.

Sorry to have missed your RS debut at AMP. I was busy driving the ring in an M2. Look forward to seeing you there when temps cool down.
