Hello Gentlemen,

I am selling the Blaupunkt Monterey SQR 23 cassette head unit and M494 Blaupunkt amplifier from my 1986.5 928S.

They were not installed when I bought the Red Witch, instead were packed in a box. As per the PO, they worked when he removed them in mid-2002. I have not tested either unit.

The head unit appears to be in good condition, with nothing obviously broken. However, some of the lettering has been worn off. Note the 'U' and '1' buttons.
All the ***** turn smoothly, and the buttons feel crisp. The cassette door is not damaged.
There are no plugs or wires with the head unit.
I have gently cleaned the face of the head unit with alcohol and a soft toothbrush. Note, there is a slight amount of light surface rust starting to form on the back on the unit.

The amplifier apprears to be in good condition, with nothing obviously broken. However, some of the lettering and such has been worn off the top of the casing. I presume by the passenger's seat.

There are two plugs connected to the wiring on the amp. A white plug is connected to the brown wires on the transformer. A black plug is connected to the speaker wiring and DIN plugs. Two sets of speaker wires have been cut.

I believe both the head unit and amp work, but can't prove it. So...buy accordingly.

$75 takes the amp and head unit. I will be at SITM and can deliver them there. Or, shipping will not be a problem.
