Hey guys we have a newly acquired 1985 911 Carrera Targa in Guards Red over Black with only 21,550 miles.

This car is in excellent shape with all original factory options and includes it's original window sticker, manuals

Are the miles accurate? The driver seat sure does show a lot of wear for only 21k miles.

Perhaps just age and son? It is showing a bit of wear... If only this had a whale tail it would be poster worthy. Dream car. GLWS!

The miles are accurate Dan, as for the drivers seat wear, the leather is a bit wrinkled and not cracked as the picture appears. The bolster has its normal wear..

Not bad at all for a 31 year old car..

Why is the Carrera emblem so high up on the rear decklid?

Think that is normal - I had to remove emblem on my '85 to mount tail (FS: https://rennlist.com/forums/vehicle-...911-targa.html ) Shameless cross-post.

That's exactly my first Porsche I ever owned - not the exact car, but the same specs (color, year, Targa etc.). Its a hoot. I cant believe the price. I think I sold mine for less than $30K or so in 1994 or so to get a 964 C2. I actually preferred this one to the 964. GLWS.
