Default Some Light Weekend Mods

So I got bored with my interior this weekend and decided to spice things up, redid the center console trim pieces in silver suede fabric and installed LED instrument cluster bulbs along with lime green painted needles. Let me know what you think.

Also since I installed the AUX cable I no longer needed the cd holders so I removed the cartridges and the metal springs inside and now have a second custom storage tray ^_^

You realize you just posted your credit card number with expiration dates and all? Time to call the bank.

Otherwise, looks spiffy.

Whoops!

The green definitely isn't my preference but it looks like you did a really nice job on your upgrades. Except for the gutted CD holder. It needs more work.

I think the new screwdriver holder works well, personally. Keeps your screwdriver handy and right where you need it.

Every car needs a screwdriver holder!

I have black suede too, it was a tough choice but I like the color match console to the exterior too much

Also with the needles I tried to replicate the 918 cluster but you cant recreate perfection

I did this on a previous car and used Flourescent marking spray paint. It comes very close.

Green gives it a Gemballa style treatment. How come you didn't do the two outer needles?

The suede to me is a little 70's **** but as long as you like it is all that matters.

I was just looking at the CDR-220's on ebay yesterday. I'm almost to the point where I would like an Aux.
