Don't know about whether they are "garbage" but they don't protect the "point" of the most forward part of the seat bolster, and I'd think that's where a good part of the wear will take place.

I tried one for kicks when I had GT2 buckets. It's definitely not leather. Also didn't exactly fit (but yes, not made specifically for those seats). That said, I'm getting a set from Exclusive Option

For that price I wouldn't expect it to be leather. But it is cheap and may be helpful depending on how you exit the seat. I had GT2 seats and no wear on it after 3 years. No bolster however.

Let's hope vorsteiner has a more competitive price. They haven't returned any of my several messages though.

I went to the driving school in Alabama and the LWBS looked pretty bad. All the other seats in cars with more miles were in decent shape. I ordered a pair. I don't have time or desire to put in the effort to figure out a better or cheaper option.

I have something similar on my LWB and they have done a great job protecting the leather over the five years I have had the car. The wear point is at the top on the GT2 LWB's FWIW.

Is it possible to order just for the drivers side? I never take anyone in my car as it is mostly a track / fun toy and it seems to be a waste to order two.
