Mr 914: the pic you posted is a car named Kermit, which is what I meant by 'Kermit colored'. Search for it here, and you will find exhaustive pictures. One of the most beloved early cars and part of what triggered the movement to appreciate the early cars. I hope this car is that color underneath. I looks like it may be a slightly darker metallic green, but very hard to tell from the photos. In any case the seats were all tan or cork at some point, unlike kermit which has pasha inserts, I think. If it is light metallic green underneath, I think it makes it more interesting. I mean, that red paint is so toast that it has to come off anyhow, so why not bring it back in the original color it it is different that the red was not sprayed in the engine compartment.

Red cars do not patina to green, ask for a pic of engine bay, under hood, and floor of rear hatch. This car was likely green at birth...or get the VIN, call the Porsche COA people - let them know you are buying a car but really need to know the color before purchase. If you are nice they sometimes will do it for you as a courtesy...

I saw this, and was thinking about it. I'm out of money, only have about $1000 left to put into the two 928 I have right now. The investors bought a box truck. 16' and 7.3 litre power stroke diesel. I'll post the photos soon.

I just got my 3rd one, it's still in the truck. I'm building a Geodesic Dome 24' foot garage. No laughing please.... http://www.desertdomes.com/tips.html using this calculator http://www.ziptiedomes.com/geodesic-...calculator.htm

This sad '79 in Seattle makes the one in Santa Barbara look like a steal:

Not sure I agree. The Seattle car is running. It is clearly a project, but a running car is always ahead of a non-runner in my view. The ask is optimistic though.
