Spring Time Fuel Hose Reminder
Check boys, girls and inbetweens.
84 US car today. Get the proper hose and not Autozone crap. (Roger and Mark have it in stock) Let's not get into the discussion about EFI clamps on these ok?
Replace those injector seals when you do the hoses, these were hard as a rock.

High on my 'to-do' list. As soon as I get it back on it's wheels, going into body shop then, the next job is intake refresh and fuel hoses.

I have 1984 928s an two years back I did every hose on the motor of my car I put on the very best hose an those new hose clamps my injector seals were very bad also now their new. I would have lost my car to fire if I had not change these parts Vernon I have had my 928 for 27 years an it is just a great car.

Not seeing the problem. Those cracks are on the outside. No reason to believe the inside is cracked too, is there?
I'm pretty sure I wouldn't even try to start a car with hoses like those. I'm pretty sure i wouldn't want anyone to bring a car by for fuel hose inspection if it had those hoses. Park it out in the street and we'll look at it there! With a charged garden hose, a big bucket already filled with water, and a big fire extinguisher handy.

Working on an '88 that is mostly original and figured now is as good as any time to remind peeps to check their lines. Pulled this one today.
