Hello,

I just recently bought a 2000 Porsche 911 C4 in Colorado, I do believe it belonged to a previous owner here on the forums. Purchased for only 14K.

The vehicle does have a rebuilt transmission (2nd gear) from Gbox, IMS bearing fixed and RMS fix. 103,000 miles, I have all the service records.

I am in the Army, stationed at Fort Carson, CO. (Will be stationed in Hawaii later this year ) My other vehicle is a 2012 Subaru STI.

So far I am excited about this Porsche, drives very well. I did paint the interior trim red (It was previously silver), fixed a broken drivers side door handle, welded new exhaust tips and repaired the rear GT2 wing.

I look forward on having discussions and learning from you guys.

So I made a few changes since owning the vehicle:

1. Replaced power steering rack (left boot on previous rack was leaking)
2. Endlinks
3. Koni sport suspension with HR springs
4. Rear brake pads and rotors
5. Hydrodipped interior (glossy red)
6. Weathertech floor mats
7. New center caps for wheels (ebay, Chinese knock offs)
8. Gauge cluster, shifter and center arm rest leather changed to black with red stitching
9. Removed old wing for a stock one

Future plans:

1. New set of summer tires (any suggestions?) moving to Hawaii in 30 days.
2. Repaint front hood to fix rock chips
3. Sparco pro 2000 seats (driver and passenger)
4. GMG World Challenge Bar (red)
5. Replace clock light on gauge (faded)
6. Red seat belts
7. Fabspeed competition intake
8. Headers and Cats (unsure yet)
9. Carbon-fiber steering wheel
10. Open to suggestions

Nice looking car, love your Doctor Who (I'm guessing) license plate frame.

It looks great! Love your changes.... Pilot Super Sports are really really good tires and highly rated.... You might add engine mounts to your "futures" list.

Here's a pic from spring break when our family went to pay hommage.....

Nice! Always good to see other whovians, love the pic. I'm a Matt Smith person and my wife is David Tennant fanatic.

Ill check out those tires and engine mounts.

Also need to look into foam padding or something to stop annoying squeaks of old interior parts.
