Love that interior!

How much do you want for the Vanilla Ice Tape? I wore mine out in the 90's.

Also, it looks as though I may have dropped a quarter by the passenger door, while there last night trying to steal...eeerrr...remove...eeerrr...check the radio's condition for you.

If possible...could you mail it to me.

Thank you, in advance.

Brian.

Must have been a bitch to get these in - wonder why they didn't use the available US Porsche Units? (Or broomsticks as Bailey says they used to use 'back in the day')

Congrats...it found yet another great home.

Almost a herringbone pattern...

The only other car I've seen with this cloth was the mocha brown '80 US car that sold by Flynt on eBay recently....

Uni-Stoffe came in Tan (like Flynts car), Brown (Mine) and Black.

The Seat sides are Leather, and I gotta say it's the softest, creamiest leather I have ever seen in a car - like "butta".

Vanilla Ice tape not for sale, changed the words to "rollin in my 4.7"

The "Outside Temp Gauge" mod in the car, it's growing on me despite having sourced original items to replace it.

A few other items:

Dash is perfect, leather covered...

Magic Numbers!

Complete tool kit (then again, so am I!)

Cripes - anybody up for some surgery?

Safety flag in rear - I don't think it's ever been out of there. Only for use while doing surgery on side of road with above kit.

Only real flaw I can find on interior - the seat side is collapsed - took seat out and the metal support of the frame on the side is broken - anyone have experience with this? i will start another thread to address this one.

Great find!

Different ***** on the radio, interesting.

Is it my imagination or are the threads on the towing eye different? They look to be much coarser pitch than on William's '78. (And different from the later-car ACME thread, I think...)

The early cars were a much finer thread. I have a few of those. Both '80 Euros have the coarser thread. I think the '79 cars have coarse thread but as they are in storage I can't check right now.

Thats a great car Alex , The color is perfect with the PDials,
I hope you raise it up before doing much driving as serious engine damage will occur.

If you need work done on it,
tow it down here and I will fix it up.

Brian, my '78 and weissach are both without central locking and AC button. I think the AC is automatic with certain hvac temp and mode.

Alex, bring down the euro and have Stan work on it, so that you can drive it back to Hershey. Would love to have a pic of it and my car side by side with their caregiver in between them!
