damn - wish I'd had this choice several months ago - but I'm enjoying my PAG "knockoffs"

Those look great on that gray 997 cab.

I just got wind of this offer a couple of days ago....

I think we are looking at only 4-sets at this price, who knows, maybe you can find a buyer and pay the difference from what you have.??

You guys are in the ballpark. If you go to the Fuchs de site, it's $4167 shipped to your home via money order or Paypal. This assumes a 1.14 USD/EUR exchange rate. $4167 = €3,656 x 1.14

Does your Fuchs include the center caps and tax?

I decided to pass on these for now and just put on new tires on my carerra classics.

GLWS.

I doubt that they can get you though customs at that price, however to answer your question unless you are having these shipped or sold to a CA resident then you will not be charged sales tax.

You said "shipped" however I didn't see anything about FREE shipping on their site. Can you clear that up?

copied and pasted from their site:

Front: 19x8½ ET56 | 23lbs | $1253 x 2 = $2506
Rear: 19x11 ET51 | 25lbs | $1319 x 2 = $2638

Total: $2506 + $2638 = $5,144.00

Includes a sizeable and separate shipping charge, which is like $400. Feel free to visit the site yourself. Not sure about customs, an order form they sent me didn't mention any custom requirements or charges.

We did visit the site and nothing was mentioned regarding however we do ship from here International every week, customary we are not responsible for those fees imposed by each country.

In the US the 2K marker seems to be the threshold on items of value to be considered taxable but you can do your own research here: http://www.cbp.gov/trade/basic-impor...rnet-purchases

Good, you knew about the shipping details having visited the site. Thanks for posting the customs info, so everyone can be fully informed. Suppose one can order two wheels at a time.

What about the center caps question?

Cheers.

Yes, funny you should mention that, this week we did a split ship for a customer going to AU, he wanted to order a front and a rear and 10-lug bolts. Then next week he's ordering the same thing....

Hey, whatever works for this guy, the only difference is that the shipping came out to around $100 more on the order when broken into two if I recall correctly.

Center caps are extra, same as on the Fuchs site.

Another endorsement for the Otto Fuchs wheels. I haven't had such an easy wheel to clean in awhile--I had forgotten about it until the other night when I finally got around to washing my car.
