I think I should be:
SCCA- ASP
PCA- P6

Just want to confirm, so I don't show up looking like a total dumbass.

Thanks.

Yeah, that's ASP for SCCA. Not sure about PCA rules; my PCA region doesn't autocross

If your region uses PCA Parade rules, I think the LCAs may have you in Improved rather than Production, but many PCA regions roll their own classes.

Beautiful car!

Dang, so sorry! I'm lucky. Ours does all-day 10-12 run events, maybe 15 or so events per year. I think the S.F. Bay area is the universal center of
autocross, with maybe 80 events per year from different clubs, within a
2-hour radius. All year too. It gets down to mid-50s in winter, and
occasionally it even rains. Life is tough.

We have two local clubs here (SCCA region & a really good indie club) so I get my fill of autocross. We have agreements with another nearby indie to run 1st-2nd-3rd sundays of each month and are trying to get the NASA region to agree to the 4th Sunday instead of randomly conflicting with the rest of us, which would mean an autocross nearly every weekend March-Nov. There's usually local standing start time trials at one of the local tracks on the 5th sundays so it doesn't conflict with the local autocrosses- my favorite of the two (Academi) is more like a giant slalom autocross than a typical track and just TONS of fun. There are too many people attending the autocrosses for 10-12 run days, not that I can afford that sort of tire budget anyway

Coolness, where is that? If I have to start a whole new life somewhere
else, needless to say, I have to know the autocross prospects. I don't
know why the SCCA or AARP or something don't have a national map
with statistics to help people make rational relocation decisions...

Old Dominion Region SCCA - VA Beach, VA
Tidewater Sports Car Club - VA Beach, VA
Virginia Motor Sports Club - Richmond, VA
NASA Mid-Atlantic - usually around Richmond, VA. Also does winter events.
TSCC hosts the track attacks at Academi in Moyock, NC and Gripfest events at Garysburg, NC.

It's good as far as action goes, but with the exception of ACU4 on Little Creek Amphib base (TSCC hosts about 6 events per year there, including the state championship), the sites are not that great. And it's a longass drive to most ProSolo and National Tours; I think there are better places to move if you want to autocross. Ohio and Chicago come to mind, though they get cold. I do like that I can run summer tires all year around! Seems like San Francisco has a pretty sweet deal.

Thanks, OK. Here's a shot of a Winter PCA event. If you look closely
you can tell some guys are wearing jackets, so it's not all peaches and
cream.
