The cars, oh the nice cars.

Nice to see some of the older P cars coming out, and seeing some of the newer ones as well, stretching their legs, so to speak.

As I am just new to the Porsche world it is nice to be driving with some of them. I was recently heading onto the Deerfoot when a newer 911 comes out around me like I was standing still and flashes before my eyes. At one point we were driving together with a Dodge Viper and an M3, just poking along down a stretch of the hi-way. It felt nice to be in such company.

Next weekend is our PCA's opening run that I hope to be attending for the very first time, more great company.

I guess the moral of the story is "There is no substitute"

And there's a show of classic cars at the Deerfoot Mall today, that should be worth a look.

Yea and I missed it. I was just told about it a while back.
Was it all American muscle ?

Hope to meet a few of the people next week, should be interesting.

Mostly muscle cars, hot rods, and domestic classics', also Ferrari's, MG's, Rolls, etc.

But nary a P-car.

However, I really enjoyed it.

so there are a few calgarians here, the wednesday car shows at deerfoot mall (used to be at the home depot mcleod parking lot) is usually pretty good. Alot of different cars, mostly muscle/pony cars but I have taken my 944 there and always had a good time
